In this installment, Sir Percy Blakeney, the daring English nobleman secretly known as the Scarlet Pimpernel, once again risks his life to rescue innocent aristocrats from the guillotine. His clever disguises, wit, and charm allow him to outmaneuver his relentless enemy, Citizen Chauvelin, who is determined to expose and capture him. However, Chauvelin devises a more personal scheme: he targets Lady Marguerite Blakeney, hoping to use her as bait to trap Sir Percy.
